This jacket was designed for the lady who likes to use her skills to make something that is especially hers. The open lattice work up the front, down the sleeves and across the back offers many creative opportunities. You could use any assortment of ribbons, braids, fabric tubes or pieced strips. The construction is much easier than you would imagine. These lattice cut lines are placed to draw the eye up the front and out toward the cuff. The back cut line is high enough to draw the eye up and away from the hips and waist. There is a straight kimono style collar that can be fully attached or only partly sewn and left loose to tie. There are also pockets sewn to the inside front (not in the side seams) for easy access and eliminates side seam bulk. This is a good visual design for all figures.
