This 3-piece ensemble is very versatile and can take on many different looks or personalities depending on fabric used and embellishments or creative touches added. The jacket is long with a dolmen type sleeve and band collar. There are several design options to choose from when making the jacket. The unlined option is perfect for the “make-it-today” and “wear-it-tonight” sewer. The design has simple clean lines that work well to show off a special fabric. This is a perfect “basic” for any wardrobe Or, you can take a little more time and choose the option with what I call “loose lining with cording for detailing”. This is a lined jacket that has the lining attached only at the neck and inside sleeve seams allowing the lining to hang loose and giving the garment a layered look. Cording is added to the collar band and lining edge to add detailing and increase movement. Large pockets are included in the instructions. Also included in the pattern is a pull-on skirt with elastic waist for comfort. Cording instructions have also been added for the hem of the skirt to add soft movement when you walk. The pull-on blouse completes the ensemble.
